We're facing a serious problem: everyday in Texas someone dies or is severely injured as a result of gun violence. Texans die from suicide, accidents, and crime. We hear about these deaths everyday: depressed teenagers and spouses taking their own lives, children finding a loaded gun at a friends house, gun related crime, etc. We hear about it so often; we have become numb to it and feel nothing can be done.

However, we at TGS believe there is hope! We believe that many of these tragic deaths can be avoided through better education of proper gun safety. Sometimes, something as simple as a free gun lock can save a life.
